Hi, Iā€™m Casey Sanders!

I have a BFA in graphic design from the University of Wisconsin ā€“ Stout. My graphic design and art direction experience is in both small and large companies from retail and healthcare to print vendors and non-profits. I love solving design challenges, which could be anything from making content work in just the right way to how brand guidelines can still allow the creation of something creative, engaging and even fun.

My recent focus has been internal communications for a global organization, creating communications with cohesive branding, providing creative direction, growing my motion graphics skills and learning the most effective ways to communicate to our employees through multiple channels, no matter where and how they work.

Previously, I had been focusing on print and alternative digital presentation and storytelling materials, such as interactive PDFs. I got to be a part of a team that created enterprise training for employees across the world in three languages. I have also been researching, learning, and implementing accessibility for PDF, PowerPoint, Word and web to create accessible materials for internal and external audiences.

I have experience in all areas of a creative department from print and web design to working with print vendors and creative agencies. I pride myself in being able to help in other areas as needed and provide advice and knowledge from my experiences.

Volunteer work has also been a large part of my design career. I have helped a local non-profit, Can Do Canines, with some of their largest events and fundraisers with my design contributions since 2016. I have also participated on their gala committee since 2017.

In my free time, I love to garden, travel, bike, play volleyball, and attend concerts and plays. Before Covid, I was biking to and from work all year round and playing on as many volleyball teams as I could manage (usually only one at at time). My home is slowly being overtaken by houseplants and I enjoy planning out my outside gardens. My newest challenge is to grow a cut flower garden, so I can share beautiful bouquets with my friends and family.
